Hurricane Ian leaves trail of destruction across Florida, South Carolina

From Global News.

In the U.S., Hurricane Ian has made its second landfall, this time in South Carolina.

It’s been downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone since first hitting as a category one hurricane. But there is still major flooding and extensive damage.

More than two hundred thousand people are without power and the storm is barrelling north with the threat of more high winds and powerful storm surges.

Jackson Proskow reports from hard-hit Fort Meyers — a once pristine place, now in shambles.
