Neighbours help neighbours, as Ottawa volunteers join forces after ferocious storm

From Global News.

As Ottawa cleans up from a vicious storm, now volunteers are doing what they can to help residents left in the dark.

Mayor Jim Watson said "most" customers still without power should have service restored within the next two to three days.

But he warned it will be several weeks before the storm damage is fully cleaned up. He also said people should stay home, if possible, to keep roads clear.

David Akin visits some of the hardest-hit neighbourhoods in the nation’s capital to see how people are coping.
