Powell Says Wasn’t Aware of Kaplan, Rosengren Trading

From Bloomberg Markets and Finance.

Sep.22 — Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell says the central bank will review the rules around trading and asset holdings for reserve bank presidents after trading activity by Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren and Dallas’s Robert Kaplan were scrutinized for the potential conflict of interest. "We need to make changes and we’re gonna do that as a consequence of this," Powell said at a virtual press conference Wednesday following a policy meeting of the U.S. central bank.
