Who we are
First of all, there is no “we”. This site is being maintained by an individual in Dayton, Ohio. The website is called mBlip, and the web address is: https://www.mblip.com.
What personal data does mBlip collect and why is it collected
Although not necessarily personally identifiable, visitor IP addresses are collected and stored for up to 60 days to monitor how much traffic this site is getting.
When visitors leave comments on the site, mBlip collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you leave a comment on this site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website, in this case, YouTube.
Who mBlip shares your data with
Unless required by law, mBlip does not share your data with anyone, but if you watch a video on this site, YouTube will know you were watching that video.
How long does mBlip retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. A visitor’s IP address is stored for 60 days.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left a comment, you can request to have the comment and any data connected to the comment erased. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where is your data sent
Unless legally required otherwise, nobody’s data is ever sent anywhere, but if you watch a video on this site, YouTube will know you were watching that video.
