Q&A – How do I overwinter my mandevillas?

From Family Plot.

Mandevillas are tropical plants that can’t stand temperatures below about 45 degrees. Retired MSU Extension Horticulture Specialist Lelia Kelly recommends moving them into the house and putting them in a sunny window. If they are in the ground, you can dig them up and put them in a pot. Mandevillas like sun so they may not get enough light in the window, but they will survive. Water them when the soil dries out. You can take them back outside after the last frost.
