From Global News.
The school shooting in Uvalde, Texas is forcing many people to revisit America’s past school shootings, especially the December 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
"What are we doing?" Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy asked the U.S. Senate multiple times Tuesday following the latest mass shooting which killed 21 in a Texas elementary school.
He asked his colleagues why they bothered running for the Senate if they plan to stand by and do nothing on gun violence in the country. "We have another Sandy Hook on our hands," he said.
While it and every other mass shooting has spawned calls for tighter gun control in the U.S., Eric Sorensen explains how gun reform has been an uphill battle.
